🌎BCE MULTICULTURAL NIGHT 🌎

Pack your passports and get ready to travel the world without leaving BCE!

Join us for our 3rd Annual Multicultural Night: Passports Around the World on:

📅 Friday, September 25, 2026
⏰ 6:00–8:30 PM
📍 Bee Cave Elementary

Multicultural Night is a special evening that brings our students, families, and staff together to celebrate the cultures, traditions, and heritage represented throughout our Bobcat community.

Families will travel from country to country while enjoying cultural booths, passport activities, music, performances, traditional clothing, optional food tastings, and more!

🌍 Help Bring the World to BCE!
Families and community members may participate in one or more of the following ways:

Host or Help with a Country Booth
Represent a country or culture through flags, maps, traditional clothing, artifacts, crafts, games, language, music, or another interactive display.

Offer an Optional Food Tasting
Share a simple, bite-sized sample that represents your country or culture. Food will be served from designated tables in the Cafeteria, and complete ingredient and allergen information will be required.

Participate in the Culture Showcase
BCE students may represent a country through dance, music, traditional clothing, martial arts, movement, storytelling, or another cultural tradition. Students representing the same country will work together to create one fun, 1-minute segment.

Share a Featured Cultural Performance
We are also looking for local individuals and groups who would like to share cultural music, dance, martial arts, storytelling, or another special performance.

🐾 **WE NEED YOU, BOBCAT PARENTS!** 💙💛

Our **Raise the Paw Fundraiser** is coming, and this is one event we simply **cannot pull off without the help of our amazing BCE parents!**

We’re building our **Fundraising Committee**, and whether you’re a master organizer, creative thinker, behind-the-scenes helper, hype person, or someone who can simply give us a little bit of your time—we have a spot for you.

And no, joining the committee does **not** mean signing your life away. 😂 There are plenty of ways to help, big and small!

This fundraiser directly supports our Bobcats, teachers, programs, and campus—and the more parents we have involved, the bigger the impact we can make.

🚌 **OKAY BOBCATS… NOW THAT WE SURVIVED THE FIRST-DAY JITTERS, LET’S TALK ABOUT THE BUS.** 😎

If your family is lucky enough to have bus service, it might be time to give that big yellow beauty another look.

Because hear us out…

**THE BUS IS ACTUALLY PRETTY COOL.**

🚌 Air-conditioned? **YES.**
🚌 Seat belts? **YES.**
🚌 GPS tracking? **YES.**
🚌 Your child gets chauffeured to school while you stay home drinking coffee that is STILL HOT?! **SAY LESS.** ☕😂

And can we talk about our **BUS DRIVERS** for a minute?!

These incredible humans are some of the **first smiling faces our Bobcats see in the morning and the last ones they see before coming home.** They learn our kids’ names, greet them each day, keep them safe, and genuinely want to be part of their mornings and afternoons.

So if your Bobcat rides the bus, **get to know your driver!** 👋 Give them a wave. Learn their name. Encourage your kids to say good morning and thank you.

And Bobcats… we’re officially starting a campaign:

Ride with your friends.

Enjoy the A/C.

NEW YEAR. NEW ADVENTURES. SAME BOBCAT PRIDE! 💙💛🐾

The backpacks are packed.
The pencils are sharpened.
The water bottles are hopefully labeled. 😆
And tomorrow… WE’RE BACK!

There may be a few butterflies tonight (and possibly a few parents wondering where summer went 👀), but an incredible new school year is waiting for our Bobcats!

Tomorrow means seeing old friends, meeting new ones, learning new things, laughing A LOT, and beginning another year of memories at Bee Cave Elementary.

Parents, snap those first-day pictures. Kids, grab those backpacks. Teachers, we hope you got some sleep. 😂

Let’s make 2026–2027 our BEST YEAR YET!

🐾 Meet the Teacher PSA: We Love the Enthusiasm, Bobcats! 😆

We know everyone is excited to meet their teacher. You’ve got the classroom assignment. The backpack is ready. The kids are pumped. And yes… you could technically see the teacher standing right there. 👀

But here’s the deal: if it isn’t your grade level’s designated Meet the Teacher time, please resist the urge to pop in for “just a second.” 😂

Our teachers are welcoming multiple groups of families while also putting the finishing touches on their classrooms and preparing for the first day of school. That little “quick hello” multiplied by dozens of families becomes… well… not so quick.

So we’re asking everyone to help us Set the Golden Standard:
🐾 Arrive during your designated grade-level time.
🐾 Enjoy meeting your wonderful teacher!
🐾 Keep your visit within the scheduled window.
🐾 When your time is up, make like a Bobcat and scoot! This frees up classrooms and parking spaces for the next group of families.

And if you happen to walk past your teacher before your scheduled time…

Smile. Wave. Keep walking. 😎

We promise—they’ll still be wonderful when your time arrives.

Thank you for showing our teachers the same kindness and respect they show our Bobcats every single day. 💙💛

🚗🐾 BOBKITTENS, START YOUR ENGINES! 🐾🚗

Back-to-school means new teachers, new backpacks, new routines… and the return of everyone's favorite morning activity: THE BCE CAR RIDER LINE. 😆

A few friendly reminders so we can keep the line moving like a well-oiled machine instead of a parking lot episode of Survivor:

🚫 The front entrance is NOT a morning drop-off location.
We know it's tempting. It's right there. It looks convenient. Stay strong. Keep driving. 😂 All car riders should use the designated car rider line.
⏰ The car rider gate opens at 7:10 AM!

Yes—7:10! Take advantage of it! Beat the rush. Beat the traffic. Beat the "WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!" panic coming from the front seat.

Students are tardy at 7:40 AM, and instruction begins then. So let's get those Bobcats through the doors and ready to roll!

🏆 THE 2026–27 SEATBELT CHALLENGE:
Please practice having your child buckle AND unbuckle independently.

Think NASCAR pit crew:
Unbuckle → Door → Backpack → Bobcat OUT.
Not:
Unbuckle → Can't find water bottle → Forgot backpack → Mom climbs across console → Someone lost a shoe → entire car line watches. 🤣

🚙 PASSENGER SIDE ONLY!
Bobcats should always exit on the passenger/curb side of the vehicle. This one isn't just about speed—it's an important safety rule.

🚌 And the bus drive?
That's the buses' house. We don't go in the buses' house.
No parent, visitor, or car traffic through the bus drive at any time.

And remember: every family can use the morning car rider line, or students may ride the bus. More information about selecting daily arrival and dismissal methods will be coming soon.

We promise—give us a few mornings and we'll all be professionals again. 😎
