The passing of Commissioner Sjoberg is a loss for our community. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who knew him.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of City Commissioner Craig Sjoberg.

Sjoberg took office July 1, 2024, and was a passionate, caring, diligent, and veracious leader.

City staff and leaders are heartbroken. Our thoughts and prayers are with Commissioner Sjoberg’s wife Pudge, son Jesse, and all his family and friends

For 112 years, Skeels Electric Company has grown alongside Bismarck-Mandan, dating back to a time when only 14% of local residents had access to electricity.
