Isolated severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening, with the greatest chances near the Palmer Divide and Cheyenne Ridge. Damaging winds, large hail, and locally heavy rainfall are the main hazards to watch for with any storms. Isolated severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening, especially for the eastern plains and east of the I-25 corridor. Damaging winds, large hail, and locally heavy rainfall are the main hazards to watch for with any severe storms. More thunderstorms are on the way this afternoon and evening. A few storms this afternoon could become strong to severe, with heavy rainfall, hail, and strong winds possible. Areas that have seen heavy rainfall over the past few days will be more prone to flash flooding today. A Flood Watch will be in effect today from 2PM to 10PM for the areas shown in the graphic. Another round of scattered to numerous thunderstorms is expected this afternoon and evening. The main hazard today will be heavy rainfall leading to flash flooding, especially for those areas that have seen rain the past couple of days. Storms will also be capable of producing strong winds and hail. If you encounter a flooded road, make sure you turn around, don’t drown!

A Flood Watch is in effect for portions of the northeast and east central Colorado plains, Palmer Divide, and southern Front Range foothills from 2 pm to 10 pm today. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected to develop over the area this afternoon and evening. Heavy rainfall rates of 1–2" in 30 minutes, on top of yesterday's rainfall, may lead to localized flash flooding.

Remember to never drive on flooded roads. Turn Around Don't Drown!
