Last week, Gallatin County 911 said goodbye to two dedicated team members whose contributions have left a lasting impact on our organization and the communities we serve.

🎉 Congratulations to Assistant Director Geoff Solberg on his retirement!

Geoff retires after 8 years of service with Gallatin County 911. He joined our team as the CAD Administrator in 2018 and, in 2021, was promoted to Assistant Director of Public Safety Systems, a role he held until his retirement.

Throughout his tenure, Geoff played a critical role in some of the most significant technology projects in our organization's history, including the implementation of our Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system and our countywide radio system. His technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence have helped build a stronger and more reliable public safety communications system for Gallatin County.

Thank you, Geoff, for your dedication and the lasting legacy you leave behind. We wish you a long, healthy, and well-deserved retirement.

👏 Thank you to Susan Walker for 25 years of dedicated service!

After 25 years serving our community, Susan Walker has concluded her career with Gallatin County 911. During her time with the organization, Susan served as a Communications Officer, Trainer, Public Educator, Peer Supporter, and most recently as a Shift Supervisor.

Susan's passion for developing the next generation of communications professionals was evident in every trainee she mentored. She was a strong advocate for professional standards and played an important role in policy development, helping ensure our organization aligned with national best practices. Her dedication to supporting her coworkers and serving the public has made a lasting difference within our center and throughout the profession.

Susan, thank you for your years of service, leadership, and commitment to excellence.

Please join us in thanking Geoff and Susan for their extraordinary contributions to Gallatin County 911 and wishing them the very best in their next chapters.

After 30 years of dedicated service, Dispatcher Jennifer LaCross completed her final sign off.

Not only was this Jennifer’s last transmission, but she had the honor of completing it alongside her husband, retired from the Bozeman Police Department, making the moment even more meaningful.

Jennifer’s career has left a lasting impact on this community, the first responders we serve, and everyone fortunate enough to work beside her over the years.

A special thank you to everyone who came out, showed support, and helped celebrate Jennifer’s incredible 30-year career. Your presence was a powerful reminder of the strong partnerships and relationships that make this public safety community so special.

Congratulations on your retirement, Jennifer.❤️
