Say hello to this week's Kid Librarian, Gabriel! Gabriel is eight and is currently reading Unico: Hunted, Vol. 2 by Samuel Sattin and Osamu Tezuka. Gabriel has been visiting the Camas Library since he was three and used to love reading Rabbit and Robot: The Sleepover by Cece Bell with his dad. Gabriel has put together a very dynamic display full of graphic novels and original art - a wonderful way to wrap up this year's Kid Librarian roster. We will be back in the fall with a brand new lineup. Until then, happy reading!

We are closing in on the end of this season's Kid Librarians. Before we say good-bye for the summer, please say hello to Avnita, this week's Kid Librarian! Avnita is eight and is currently reading the Zoe’s Rescue Zoo series by Amelia Cobb and the Dragon Girls series by Maddy Mara. Avnita loves the tablets that kids can borrow to do research. She did her Cougar research for her class work at Camas Library using the tablets and books!

Some lists tie into the season or special celebrations — this month, explore picks for Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Jewish American Heritage Month, Mother’s Day, and our regional One Book, One Coast program. Others are just plain fun (ever wondered which authors use pen names?).
