The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New England District invites community members to attend the first public meeting of the Ninigret Restoration Advisory Board (RAB). The meeting is free and open to the public. We encourage all interested residents and stakeholders to attend and learn more about the restoration process and the role of the RAB in supporting community engagement.

On this day 90 years ago, Narragansett Tarzan Brown won the 1936 Boston Marathon. It is a good day to remember all of his accomplishments and also to remember the man who made not only the Narragansett people proud, but made all of Rhode Island proud!
