🛡️ At Versova, safety is more than a standard — it’s a shared commitment. To support a proactive culture of safety, our Grassroots Safety Committee launched a hazard identification card program across all farm sites.

The program empowers employees to report potential hazards so they can be reviewed and addressed by managers and the committee, helping strengthen safety practices through continuous, on-the-ground communication.

Packaging plays a large role in ensuring eggs arrive safely at their final destination. Protection during shipping is vital for reducing breakage and minimizing product loss. Over the past year, 54% of Versova's outer packaging transitioned from cardboard to reusable plastic crates for egg transport.

Designed for repeated use, these crates:

♻️ reduce single-use corrugated waste
♻️ eliminate packaging-related contamination risks

This National Egg Month, we’re highlighting an essential step in the production process to help ensure safe and quality eggs: Candling.

Candling involves holding each egg up to a high-powered light to check its interior and exterior quality. 💡 After eggs are candled, they are washed, packed, and shipped to grocery stores.
