Expedition Dinosaur is free and located on the NYSM's fourth floor terrace! Plus, there's no need to stampede... the exhibit will be open through January 3, 2027!

In observance of Memorial Day, the library will be closed Saturday, May 23 & Monday, May 25th as we take time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸
We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26th for regular business hours.

🦖🦕 Caution: Dinosaurs! 🦕🦖
On Thursday evening, The Cohoes Public Library stomped through the Memorial Day Parade in full dinosaur gear waiving flags & spreading the word about this Summer’s Reading Program "Unearth the Story!”

Shout out to Upper Hudson Library System, Capital Region BOCES CTE, and the high school's Community Service Club from Cohoes City School District for helping to make this happen!

We want to extend a great big "Thank you" to Pioneer Savings Bank for being a community sponsor for our Summer Reading Program Kickoff. This is going to be an exciting summer, and it all kicks off Sunday, June 7th from 1 to 3 pm with a rain date of Sunday, June 14th at Van Schaick Park!
