EMS Levy Renewal – Vote YES November 3rd!

The existing 1.0-mill Vermilion River Ambulance District levy helps maintain 24/7/365 Paramedic and EMT coverage for our communities.

This is a 5-year renewal — not an additional levy. The levy has been in place since 2007 and costs approximately $19 per year for every $100,000 of appraised market value.

Your community investment helps keep YOUR LOCAL ambulance service ready when you need us.

Community engagement comes in all sorts of forms. But one recent, exciting is from OEMSCA member Gratis Township Rescue Association (Gratis EMS) in their sponsorship a youth soccer team. Great job showcasing your agency and supporting youth activities!

GTRA was approached in the summer by Preble Shawnee SAY soccer for interest in sponsoring a youth soccer team this season. We happily agreed! Today we were able to get a picture with the team we sponsored following the opening day parade!

Our thoughts are will the skilled responders and clinicians of OEMSCA member agency Fredericktown EMS and Fredericktown Community Fire District. Both teams as well as surrounding mutual aid partners delivered incredible care and service when their community needed them and we applaud their efforts. We’re also real happy they got some time to unwind with some friendly animal friends.
