Mosquito spraying is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25 in the North spray zone of Prairie Township due to mosquitoes in the area testing positive for West Nile Virus, and in the South and West spray zones due to a high number of mosquitoes. This includes the Lincoln Village, Village Park, and Lake Darby areas. Spraying will begin at 9:00pm (weather permitting).
Please do not approach, impede, harass, or interrupt the sprayers at any time. For any questions or complaints, please reach out to Franklin County Public Health via the BITE line (614-525-BITE (2483)) or via email ([email protected]) with any questions.

Franklin County Public Health reminds residents that the best way to prevent mosquito-borne diseases is by preventing mosquito bites. Remove sources of standing water in your yard, limit time outside when mosquitoes are most active at dawn and dusk, wear long sleeves and pants in light colors, and use an EPA-approved insect repellent.
