We were proud to distribute our New Parent Kits, share helpful information, and connect with families through meaningful conversations about the journey into parenthood.

Events like this remind us of the power of community and the importance of ensuring that new and expecting parents feel supported, informed, and celebrated.

This Saturday, August 29, join A More Excellent Way Health Improvement Organization (MEW) for the 14th Annual African American Community Baby Shower, a wonderful day celebrating thriving African American families and connecting parents-to-be with resources and support.

Families can enjoy free education and resources, fresh food, essential baby items, and a health and resource fair connecting them to prenatal care, health and social services, and other community supports.

We'll also be distributing our “new parent kits” filled with information about local resources available to families across Contra Costa County.
