Fishing…Family…Fun! is the hallmark of Walton Lake’s traditional Children’s Fishing Derby. Yesterday started rough but the rain stopped, the sky cleared and it was a beautiful evening for about 100+ attendees.

Yes, the weather is beautiful but fishing season does not begin until Saturday evening after the annual children’s fishing derby. And, remember, fishing at Walton Lake is a members only privilege.
