Healthy Families and Parents as Teachers held their annual Truck or Treat event last week! We hope all the families enjoyed themselves as much as our staff did. We always look forward to seeing the children’s smiling faces and making special memories with our families. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so much fun!

Several staff members attended the **2026 United Way Kickoff Campaign**, which got off to a fun start with a little friendly competition—a **Trike Race!**

A big thank you to all **13 teams** who participated and helped make the event such a success.

And congratulations to **Dalton Utilities**, our **Trike Race Champions for the second year in a row!** 🏆🎉

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the United Way and make the kickoff a great event!

Mary retired from a career in the local school systems, before joining the FSC team almost 30 years ago, bringing that deep dedication with her. We are grateful for her steadfast commitment to FSC and our community throughout her time with us. Her devoted leadership and unwavering commitment—particularly her tireless efforts championing the cause of prevention—have touched countless families and strengthened our entire community.

We look forward to honoring Mary at a drop-in reception on Wednesday, September 30, at the John Davis Recreation Center.

Healthy Families and Parents as Teachers held their annual Spring Fling and Graduation family event. Jointly, they had 28 graduating families. It's important to acknowledge and celebrate the commitment these families have shown in receiving home visiting services for at least 3 years. For 28 children in our community, this will be the first of many big accomplishments in their scholastic careers. A special thank you to La Esperanza Bakery for helping us make our event extra special.
