🚨 Snow Emergency Plan Remains in Effect 🚨

Denton Police Department – Community Update

Please be advised that the Snow Emergency Plan is still in effect, and there are numerous roads throughout Caroline County that remain completely impassable due to heavy snow and drifting.
We are asking all residents to stay off the roads unless travel is absolutely necessary. Keeping the roads clear allows Denton Public Works and county road crews to continue their operations safely and efficiently.

Denton Public Works crews are working diligently around the clock to clear every street in town. If your street has not yet been plowed, please be patient — crews will reach your area as soon as they can. Road conditions and accessibility vary widely, and operators are prioritizing routes based on safety and emergency access.

Your cooperation helps keep everyone safe.

Thank you for your patience, and please stay warm and stay safe. ❄️🚔

🚨 Snow Emergency Plan Activated – Please Read 🚨

The Denton Police Department is advising all residents that the Snow Emergency Plan has been officially activated due to the severity of the current winter storm.

❄️ Effective Immediately:
Parking on any Snow Emergency Route is prohibited.
If your vehicle is currently parked on a Snow Emergency Route, please remove it as soon as possible to allow snow plows and emergency vehicles to operate safely and efficiently.

🚫 Reminder:
Public Works crews are not responsible for clearing private driveways or driveway entrances. Their priority is to keep major roadways clear and safe for emergency response.

⚠️ This storm is serious.
Road conditions are deteriorating, and visibility may be limited. Travel should only occur if absolutely necessary. If you can stay home, please do so for your safety and the safety of others.
Thank you for your cooperation, Denton. Stay safe and stay warm.
