💙 CRAM THE CRUISER: MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY! 💙

The Denton Police Department is proud to share a wonderful example of our community coming together to help those in need!

Pictured is Officer Hafer delivering food to the Calvary Baptist Church Food Pantry, alongside Pastor Reynolds, as they work to stock the pantry shelves with canned goods and other food donations. 🚔🥫❤️

Donations were also made to His Hope Ministries. (Not pictured )

These donations were collected through the Denton Police Department’s Cram the Cruiser Food Collection Program, which supports local church food pantries and helps provide food for individuals and families in our community.

A special THANK YOU to everyone who donated food and brought items to our October Cruise-In, where we also gathered to honor the memory of Police Chief George Bacorn. Your generosity is making a real difference right here in our hometown.

From all of us at the Denton Police Department, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and continued support. 💙

🚨Update: September 27th 11:02 am: Dignified Es**rt is approaching Market Street in Denton🚨

Chief Bacorn’s Es**rt Home | Sunday, September 27, 2026

On Sunday, September 27, Chief George Bacorn will be es**rted home to Denton from the Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore. The Denton Police Department invites the community to gather near the Caroline County Courthouse to pay their respects as he passes through town.

The es**rt is tentatively expected to leave Baltimore at 9:00 a.m. They will enter Denton from Business 404, travel along Market Street, and turn onto Second Street. We will update this post with a more precise arrival time as the es**rt gets closer.

* No parking will be permitted on Market Street between First and Second streets beginning at 12:00 a.m. Sunday, September 27. Please move your vehicle before midnight tonight. Parking will be available in the municipal lot and surrounding areas.*

Roads along the route will be temporarily blocked as the es**rt makes its way into and through Denton. If you gather near the Courthouse, please remain on the sidewalks and follow officers’ directions.

There are few words that can ease a loss like this. We hope Chief Bacorn’s family and fellow officers can feel the care of the community around them as we welcome him home.
