We always love when our furry friend Molly pays a visit to keep us company! Molly demonstrated self-control as she stayed perfectly still for her photo op. Practicing self-control isn't always easy, but Molly showed us all how it's done, making her a great role model! ✨❤️

Do you know where our name comes from?! 🐾

One of our team members recently stumbled upon a real treasure... a 1924 edition of the Two By Two book published over a century ago!

Our name was originally inspired by the classic story of animals entering the ark side-by-side. But beyond the story itself, that image represents a timeless vision: a world where people, animals, and the environment thrive together in harmony and mutual respect.

From vintage 1924 pages to our mission today, we’re still dedicated to building character and caring for the world around us—two by two. ❤️

August was an absolute whirlwind of kindness! 📦🐾

Thanks to our amazing team and the Dubuque Senior High School National Honor Society volunteers, we shipped out over 2,000+ Two by Two pets this month alone—plus materials from our other core programs! 💙

While packing all these orders, our incredible UPS delivery driver shared that his daughter, who's now a 4th grader at Carver, still has her Two by Two pet from 2nd grade! He even shared that their family dog gets super anxious and whenever everyone leaves the house, their dog snags a shoe AND his daughter’s Two by Two pet for comfort. It turns out our pets provide emotional support for the four-legged family members, too! 🐶✨

We are so grateful for our community, our volunteers, and the wonderful families (and furry friends!) we get to impact every single day.

True leaders inspire the leaders of tomorrow. 💫

When you lead with kindness and integrity, the impact extends far beyond what you can see. Natalie started her journey in our Two by Two programs back in 2006, with Becca cheering her on along the way. Today, Natalie is a teacher at Bryant Elementary, stepping into the role of the very leader and role model she once looked up to as a student!

Thank you to all the educators, mentors, and everyday role models who show up and lead by example! 💙🐾 Here's to a fantastic new school year of growing, learning, and inspiring the next generation! 🍎✏️
