Operation Catching Freedom

For the second year in a row OCF proudly participated in the East Wenatchee Rotary Pike Minnow Derby in Wenatchee, Washington. On Saturday, we took out a couple of boats, caught 111 fish, and raised $3.00 per fish by the end of the day. The derby runs through Sunday the 28th and we will be back out for three- or four more-days next week, continuing to support salmon preservation while raising funds for the origination. At the end of the day, we gathered all the Participants, friends and family members for a small barbecue and a little camaraderie.

OCF will have a few boats out fishing the East Wenatchee Pike minnow derby this Saturday to help raise money for the organization. We have an extra seat to fish if someone would like to join us this Saturday the 13th. If interested shoot us a messages and we can give you the details.

Today's trip to Yale Reservoir was successful thanks to Kara Lee Weldon Knopp, Victor Leatzow, and Paul Arenz. These 3 captains put their veterans on some kokanee.

***Yale Reservoir Fishing Trip***

When: Wednesday, June 3rd @ 0700

Where: Yale Reservoir

Fishing for kokanee and possibly trout.

Fishing license and all gear will be provided. Bring snacks and drinks and a cooler for your catch. Please leave coolers in your vehicle. Bring weather appropriate clothing. You know in Washington, we can get all 4 seasons in one day.

First 8 people to comment "Fish On!" will get the available seats.

OCF will be teaming up with the East Wenatchee Rotary again in June doing what we love doing while raising a little money doing it🎣.
