🚧Roadwork update:

The intersection of Oak Hill Avenue and Watson Boulevard is closed today, (Tuesday, Oct. 27) for necessary manhole work in the intersection. All traffic other than school buses will be diverted around the intersection, as shown in the map.

Did you know Village of Endicott residents may qualify for rebates on energy-efficient home improvements, appliances, and equipment?

Through the Independent Energy Efficiency Program (IEEP), eligible residents and businesses can take advantage of rebates, including:

- Up to $5,000 for home insulation improvements
- Up to $6,000 for qualifying heat pump systems
- Rebates on ENERGY STAR certified appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, and more
- Up to $200 for qualifying battery-powered lawn equipment
- Incentives for commercial lighting and energy efficiency upgrades

These programs can help lower the cost of improvements, reduce energy use, and make homes and businesses more comfortable year-round!

What a BOO-tiful day in the Village of Endicott!

Today’s Scareousel festivities at George W. Johnson Park and New Life Ministries brought out so many families for an afternoon of spooky fun, Halloween excitement, and wonderful community spirit!

It was great to see so many smiling faces, creative costumes, and families coming together to celebrate the season!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make today’s festivities possible and to all the families who came out to join in the fun!

Events like these remind us what makes Endicott so special, our families, our neighbors, and the strong sense of community that brings us all together.

The Village of Endicott would like to inform residents that Broome Bituminous will begin milling operations on Monday, Oct. 26, at 7 a.m. on the following streets:

Hayes Avenue from Witherill Street to Jenkins Street

Witherill Street from North Jackson Avenue to Pierce Avenue

Jennings Street from Dwight Avenue to North Page Avenue

Milling operations are expected to take several days, with paving scheduled for the following week once milling is complete.

During milling and paving operations, the affected sections of roadway will be closed to unnecessary traffic. Flaggers will be stationed at each end of the work zones to coordinate access for school buses, emergency vehicles, and residents who live within the affected areas.

Residents are reminded that all vehicles must be removed from the affected roadways by 6 a.m. each day during construction. Vehicles that remain parked on the street may be towed at the owner's expense.

Additionally, Broome Bituminous has advised that streets milled last week are scheduled to be paved next week.

We encourage residents to plan accordingly, use alternate routes when possible, and exercise caution near construction areas.

The Village of Endicott appreciates the community's patience and cooperation as we continue making improvements to our local roadways.

The Endicott Police Department, in partnership with the Endicott Fire Department, is hosting a FREE Child Car Seat Check to help keep our youngest passengers safe!

Trained personnel will be available to check car seats and help ensure they are properly installed and secure.

Time: 3 – 5 p.m.
Location: 204 Washington Avenue, Endicott, NY

Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are encouraged to take advantage of this free safety service.
