Learn the lifesaving skills needed to respond to emergencies with confidence! This course covers basic first aid, adult/child/infant CPR, choking relief, and AED use. Through hands-on practice and instruction, participants will gain the knowledge and skills to provide immediate care until emergency medical services arrive.

This 2-part class taught by certified educators with Millcreek Paramedic Service is for caregivers, parents, teachers, coaches, and the general public. Certification through the Health & Safety Institute (HSI) will be available upon successful completion of the course.

⚠️ Chestnut Hill Pool Update ⚠️
We are continuing the essential repairs to the Chestnut Hill main pool pump and are working around the clock to restore operations as quickly as possible.

At this time, Open Swim on Tuesday, June 16, is cancelled.
We appreciate your understanding and will continue to post updates as they become available.

⚠️ Chestnut Hill Pool Update ⚠️
Due to an unexpected mechanical failure of the main pool pump this weekend, the big pool at Chestnut Hill is temporarily closed for repairs.

As a result, Open Swim on Monday, June 15, is cancelled. The small pool will remain open for scheduled swim lessons only.

Replacement parts are being shipped, and our maintenance team is working to restore operations as quickly as possible.

The start of our Summer Water Aerobics sessions will also be delayed by one week and are now anticipated to begin on June 22, 2026.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. Additional updates will be shared as they become available.

Know someone interested in becoming a certified babysitter?

Youth ages 11+ can build confidence and learn valuable babysitting skills in this one-day certification class. Participants will learn child care basics, behavior management, safety and security practices, and basic first aid. Upon successful completion, students will earn a national certification through the Health and Safety Institute.
