Meet our newest Vanderburgh County match, Little Allaya and Big Olivia these two both share a love for snacking on Kit Kats and pasta, and they both enjoy crafting during their free time. As they begin their journey together as a match, they're excited to spend time baking cupcakes and creating fun memories along the way.

Big Brothers Big Sisters had an incredible evening exploring the University of Southern Indiana campus after hours with our matches! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was going to be a night to remember.

The fun kicked off with pizza in The Loft, where Bigs and Littles gathered to fuel up before diving into the adventure ahead. With full bellies and big smiles, we set off to explore every corner of the beautiful USI campus.

Our group got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at some of the university's top facilities — from the state-of-the-art fitness center to the impressive basketball court, and we even got a peek inside a locker room, making everyone feel like a true college athlete for the night.

Beyond the sports facilities, we wandered the scenic campus grounds, taking in the sights and soaking up the college atmosphere. For many of our Littles, this was a first-hand glimpse into what college life could look like — and the excitement was contagious.

On June 19, 1865, enslaved people in Texas finally heard the news; they were free. This day is known as Juneteenth, and it marks one of the most powerful moments in American history.

Today is a day that honors the strength, resilience, and joy of Black Americans and the long road to freedom. It is a day for all of us to show up, stand together, and learn from one another. Right here in Evansville, there are events, gatherings, and celebrations happening in our own neighborhoods. These moments matter. When we show up together, we send a powerful message: that we value our history, we support our community, and we are committed to building something better together.

We are honored to announce that Big Brothers Big Sisters is the recipient of the Being for Others Health & Wellness Foundation grant!

These funds are going straight to work through our Spencer County High School Bigs program where we're empowering the next generation of leaders! Our Bigs and Littles will come together for bi-weekly activities designed to spark meaningful conversations and ignite a passion for leadership and civic engagement in their communities.

This is more than mentorship, it's a movement. Together, we're building confident, compassionate leaders who are ready to make a difference right here at home.

Thank You for Making Our Inaugural Big Quiz Energy Night a Success!
