Are you working toward a diploma, looking for a job, interested in a paid internship, or unsure what comes next? The inCompass program may be a good fit.

CareerRise’s inCompass program connects eligible young people with a Career Specialist who can provide personalized support with:
✅ High School Equivalency/GED completion
✅ Job searching and career planning
✅ Paid internship opportunities
✅ College, training, and education planning
✅ Support with barriers along the way

Orientation explains the program, available support, and what is expected of participants. You can learn more before deciding if inCompass is right for you.

Do you know someone who is passionate about helping young people succeed?

The CareerRise team at Larimer County Economic & Workforce Development is looking for a Youth Career Specialist to join our collaborative, service-focused team.

In this role, you'll work directly with youth and young adults ages 14-24, providing one-on-one employment support, facilitating career readiness workshops, job clubs and helping connect young people with job search strategies and meaningful employment opportunities. You'll also have the opportunity to support exciting community initiatives like our Teen Job Fair, Young Entrepreneur Tournament, and internship programs.

If you are or know someone who would be a great fit, we'd be grateful if you would share this opportunity with your colleagues, friends, and networks.

Start your summer strong with the CareerRise Summer Kick-Off Event! This is a great opportunity for youth and young adults to get support, build skills, and connect with our CareerRise staff.

When: Monday, June 1 | 2:00 - 4:00 PM
Where: 200 W Oak St, Fort Collins
Great for anyone between the ages of 14 and 21

What to Expect:
2:00 PM – Overview of CareerRise services, tool kit, and introductions to key employment topics (job search, resumes, interviewing).
2:45 PM – Optional 1:1 drop-in support in an open-house format. Staff will be available to answer questions and offer guidance on resumes, interviewing, and general job search needs.

👥 Who Can Apply?
• Applicants must be 16 - 18 years old by June
