One of the simplest ways to support The Larimer Choral Society financially is to do something you already do – shop for groceries. By participating in the King Soopers Community Rewards program, a portion of your purchase can be donated back to us at no extra cost to you! All you must do is follow these simple instructions:

1. Make sure your King Soopers card or associated phone number (alternative ID) is registered online at www.KingSoopers.com

2. Once signed in online, go to the Savings and Rewards drop-down menu and select the Community Rewards option or follow this link: www.kingsoopers.com/communityrewards

3. Click on “Link Your Shopper's Card” and then search for Larimer Chorale or enter our ID code of VX206.

4. The page will reload confirming that you’ve chosen us to receive donations - Thank you!

Join us in welcoming our 2026-27 season Administrative Assistant Intern, Makenna Kroells!

Makenna is a Political Science major at Colorado State University with a minor in Legal Studies and a strong interest in nonprofit work. She has experience in event planning, marketing, customer service, and administrative support. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, writing, and walking her dogs.

If you're looking for a beautifully acted, beautifully set film with a choral theme, check out "The Choral," a 2025 British film streaming on Netflix. It tells the story (fictional, but inspired by an actual chorus) of a community chorus in a Northern England mill town in 1916. The Great War is ever-present, the director is suspect because he has just spent a long period of time in Germany, and the prospect of being called up to the Front hangs over every young man in the village. Nevertheless, these dedicated amateurs unite to produce a performance of Elgar's "The Dream of Gerontius" for their neighbors and friends. Singing in hard times never gets old.

Enjoy a festive three-course meal paired with a complimentary glass of warm Wassail, while our renowned Dickens Carolers fill the evening with joyful song. And this year, we’re moving to a spectacular new location! Join us in the fourth-floor ballroom of CSU’s Canvas Stadium, offering easier accessibility, gorgeous mountain views, and even more room for singing, celebrating, and holiday merriment.
