Remembering and honoring Grace Mann... 💜✨💜

Grace set a strong example for everyone around her about the importance of caring. Caring for people, embodying empathy for other people & communities, such as survivors of sexual violence, women/ the Feminist community, and thé LGBTQ+ community, and love. We endlessly thank you Grace for all that you did even in your short life. Your heart carried you so far. Our heart goes out to the family, loves ones, and friends and anyone touched by Grace today. From RCASA. 💜✨

We also want to acknowledge that Claudia, our Community Services Specialist was nominated for the University of Mary Washington Grace Mann Launch Award by her friend, Lu. This award was created in honor of Grace Mann for a graduating Senior who is committed to advocating for marginalized communities and/or survivors of sexual violence and is pursuing this advocacy as a career after graduating from UMW. Regardless of whether she wins the award or not, we are proud of her and believe that she embodies everything that Grace did. 💜
