💜 A record turnout. Two project sites. Countless futures strengthened.

Thanks to the incredible turnout at our Women Build event, volunteers were able to accomplish more than we ever planned. While teams came together to build sheds for our future homebuyers on Wood Street, their efforts also helped move construction forward at our Ohio Avenue home.

This year's Women Build saw a record number of first time volunteers, proving once again that when women come together, amazing things happen. The impact of Women Build doesn't end after two build days. It carries through our entire build season, helping local families move closer to safe, affordable homeownership.

To everyone who volunteered, donated, sponsored, or cheered us on: THANK YOU! Your support is helping build stronger homes, stronger neighborhoods, and stronger communities.

Want to be part of the next chapter? Join us on an upcoming build day! Whether you're a seasoned builder or picking up a hammer for the first time, there's a place for you on our team. Starting Thursday June 4 we will have routine volunteer days each Thursday & Tuesday 8:30am-2:00pm on Ohio Avenue. Additional opportunities will be shared via Facebook and in our e-newsletter.

💜 Because Women Build Hope
and together, we're building futures. 💜

Fueling the build and the sisterhood 🏠

Our Women Build days aren’t just powered by hammers and heart.Tthey’re powered by incredible local sponsorswho make sure our volunteers are cared for while they care for our future homeowners.

A heartfelt thank you to our generous Women Build food sponsors:

This year, our Women Build volunteers will be constructing the storage sheds that will serve two future Habitat homes. These sheds will be built at our warehouse, where women from across our community will gather, learn, and work side by side in support of two hardworking single moms eager to provide safe, stable homes for their children.

Now we need YOU!

Our Friday Women Build volunteer slots are filling quickly, and space is limited. If you’ve been thinking about signing up, this is your sign. Come swing a hammer, build community, and be part of something powerful.

When women build, communities find hope. 💜

Last week, we put shovels in the ground for more than a house. We broke ground on stability, safety, and a fresh start for a local family.

This year’s traditional stick-build home is especially meaningful. When completed, it will provide a safe, affordable place to call home for a hardworking mom and her six children. The need was great, and the support from our community was even greater. From the overflow of parking to the crowd gathered around the build site, it was clear: this family is not building alone.

We are deeply grateful to the partners who stood with us at the groundbreaking and who are helping make this home possible:

✨ Dick & Barb Berger -Funding for purchase of lot
✨ Whirlpool -Clyde Division, Legacy Sponsorship
✨ ProMedica Memorial Hospital

Because of you, walls will rise, memories will be made, and seven lives will be changed forever.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, showed support, and continues to believe that everyone deserves a decent place to live. Stay tuned as we share the progress of this special build throughout the season! 🏠💙💚
