Today, Deputy Jordan and K-9 Lola, laced up their running shoes and participated in the OTOA 5K!

In addition to serving as a School Resource Officer, Deputy Jordan is also a member of the Sandusky County Strategic Response Team, demonstrating his commitment to serving our community both in the schools and out.

The OTOA 5K is a great event that helps support Ohio Special Olympics athletes, and we are proud of Deputy Jordan and Lola for representing the Sandusky County Sheriff's Office while supporting such an important cause.

With the summer season starting, the Sandusky County Sheriff's Office SROs get to start serving our community in a different way than we do in the schools!

Camp Fire runs some awesome summer programs and Deputy Byington had the privilege to go out and talk to this years group of camp leaders and staff about various emergencies they may come across and how best to prepare. Thank you for letting us come and be a part of your day!

A big thank you to Officer Byington from the Sandusky County Sheriff's Office for stopping by to work with our staff and CITs! He took the time to teach us what to do and where to go during emergency situations, both indoors and outdoors.

We are incredibly grateful for community partners like our School Resource Officers who help keep our campers and staff prepared, informed, and safe. Thank you for your dedication and support!
