There will be an author's talk at the Hahn Center on June 20th at 6:30. The book, Franklin Island, was written by the great-grandson of Franklin lighthouse keeper Albert Clinch. It is the fictionalized account of author Michael LaPierre's grandmother Lola and the growth of her Christian faith through her experiences as a teenager while living on Franklin Island in Muscongus Bay. Books will be available for purchase.

Today we had a visit from a mom and her three year old son from western Maine. Their goal is to read a book aloud at every library in the state! In the past year they have visited over 180 libraries. What a great idea. This child is blessed to have a mom who reads to him.
