Tickets are available at the Gilford Public Library or at the Parks & Recreation office at the Gilford Town Hall, 47 Cherry Valley Road in Gilford, NH. Tickets can also be purchased the night of the event or via mail to: Gilford Parks & Recreation, 47 Cherry Valley Road, Gilford, NH 03249. Make checks payable to “Town of Gilford”.

Gilford’s Weeks Bandstand 50th Anniversary

The Gilford Weeks Bandstand is a local landmark that celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year. Named in honor of one of Gilford’s oldest and most prominent families, it was planned by Prescott Lumber Company and dedicated on August 29, 1976. It was built on the Gilford Village Field in honor of the U.S. Bicentennial. Funded by a $15,000 town appropriation, it was built by Bob Swett, a local contractor. In 1978 the Gilford Community Band was established and uses the bandstand for its summer concerts.
