The Michigan Deer Tracking Network 2026 list is complete.

Be sure to find the tracker in your area and give them a call before the season so you know what they would ask you to do if you need them.

At the least save their number in your phone.

Work on vacation?!? That's right, Huck! 900 yards, 1/2oz of blood aged 18 hours. The line is blue, the red is Huck. Time for a rest.

Happy Independence Day!
Huck (red line) celebrated by having a 750 yard practice track while camping at Hoffmaster State Park. The line (blue) was put out last night. I saw a family walking through the area where I laid it...cool - grid search mimicked! Then it was rained on this morning for an hour or two...cool - more life like.
In total it was a success...750 yards, aged 16 hours, grid searched and rained on with 1/2 oz of blood. Good boy, Huck!

Huck is getting some work in at the campgrounds. Blue is the line, red is him. Aged 10 hours, 500 yards, 1/2oz blood with a 3 hour thunderstorm on top of it.
