Commemorative Flag Print Honoring America’s 250th Birthday and the Great Falls REALTOR® Flag Project
As our nation celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America, the Great Falls REALTOR® Flag Project is proud to unveil a special commemorative art print that honors both our country's enduring legacy and the spirit of the Great Falls community.
This original artwork was commissioned from Avery Shanek, a talented local artist whose work captures the character, history, and pride that define Great Falls. Through this piece, Avery has woven together many of the iconic elements that make our city unique—from the majestic American flag flying prominently over the landscape to recognizable community landmarks, our rich western heritage, and even a nod to the prehistoric history that surrounds us.
At the center of the artwork stands the American flag, symbolizing the freedoms, opportunities, and values that have united generations of Americans. Surrounding it are scenes that reflect the community we proudly call home—a city built on resilience, service, innovation, and patriotism.
The Great Falls REALTOR® Flag Project was established to celebrate these very ideals by proudly displaying American flags throughout our community. For years, REALTORS® and volunteers have worked together to place flags across Great Falls on patriotic holidays, creating a visible reminder of our shared commitment to country, community, and civic pride.
As America reaches this historic milestone, this commemorative print serves as more than a piece of artwork. It is a reflection of our past, a celebration of our present, and a reminder of our responsibility to future generations. It captures the essence of Great Falls—a community where history, opportunity, and patriotism continue to flourish.
