Hosted by Wisconsin Conservation Voters, today I participated in the roundtable with regional water experts to discuss the future of Northeast Wisconsin’s water infrastructure with U.S. Representative Tony Wied.

Participants highlighted how federal Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds drive essential projects—from tackling PFAS and replacing lead pipes to boosting weather resilience.

Thank you to Casey Hicks for organizing it and all of our regional partners like Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District - NEW Water, Eric Genrich, Mayor Jake Woodford, Green Bay Water, City of Appleton Government, and City of Green Bay Government!

I'm happy to announce that Brown County helped Heroes for Healthcare receive a Talent Recruitment Grant from the state to attract medically trained to fill skilled in our community. Thank you to Emplify Health by Bellin and Aurora Health Care for partnering in this initiative!

I'm saddened with the news of Paul Farrow's passing. I enjoyed working closely with him over the years to champion issues facing counties. He was a tremendous colleague and someone who I appreciated as a friend, father, husband, and community leader.

I want to thank Brown County's internal team, the Brown County Board of Supervisors, and the City of Green Bay for their partnership, patience, and support throughout this process.

Thank you to C. Reiss for coming together with us to move this project forward.

I'm also grateful to our state and federal partners for their guidance and assistance along the way.

This agreement is the result of people working together toward a common goal, and I'm excited about what it means for Brown County's future!

Ink is being applied to a deal that would allow the coal piles to relocate from downtown Green Bay to the mouth of the Fox River.
