Fun fact: for sleeping, a pelican bends his long neck backwards - into a shape like the letter "S" - then, he plops his big beak right down into his back, tucking it under the feathers!
So pelicans basically have their own built-in pillows - how convenient! 😂
Of course, we certainly hope you don't snooze the day away like Bubbles and Sparkles are doing here. We're open 9am to 6pm and we'd love to see you!

Missy our domestic ferret is pawsitively adorable! Although she sleeps a lot during the day (ferrets are nocturnal!), sometimes you can catch her out and about in her NEW habitat beside the black-footed ferret! 🐾 Today she was having fun playing with toys and finding food bites her keeper hid around her habitat.
