Karl’s been with us officially for 2 years—but he’s been part of the Altrusa family even longer as a dedicated volunteer! In the details, he keeps our kitchen & pantry organized, accounts for donations, makes meals, and ensures we have everything we need with those behind-the-scenes tasks in the house.

But when it comes to heart of our mission— his care & warmth make our guests feel like they're home. We’re endlessly grateful for the way you show up for our people, Karl!

Everyday is a day we see our community continue to grow & plant kindness!🌱

We want to send a big THANK YOU to those who signed up to help host families during the draft with our Nights for Neighbors program. We had 35 applications, and several families have already been matched with hosts for their medical stays in Green Bay!

We have yet to see how the need will grow as the Draft starts this weekend, but we are already seeing the incredible connections & relationships built.

Our community is stepping up in big ways—and it’s just the beginning.

📝 It's Wishlist Wednesday!

Here are a few things we’re running low on this month:
✨ Adult toothbrushes
✨ Hand soap (for private guest room bathrooms)
✨ Travel-size shampoo & conditioner
✨ Chips, snacks, and granola bars

These small items make a big difference in helping our guests feel comfortable and cared for while they're here. If you're out running errands or placing a grocery order, we'd be so grateful if you kept us in mind!

Donations can be dropped off daily from 8:30am-12pm or 4:30pm-8pm.

🐰 The Easter Bunny came a little early this year! 🌷
He’s been hopping through the house, hiding eggs and bringing smiles to our guests spending the holiday weekend away from home.

A big thank you to this week’s donors for filling our house with sweet treats, delicious desserts, and so much love!

Just a reminder: we will be closed on Easter Sunday so our staff can enjoy the holiday with their families. 🐣

Our volunteers & staff are here processing all those Nights for Neighbors applications! 📝💙

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who signed up to host families during the draft—we’re overwhelmed (in the best way) by the kindness in our community. Over 30 incredible volunteers have applied to open their homes and provide comfort through our Nights for Neighbors program.

If you're a guest receiving emergency medical care during the draft and are having trouble finding a place to stay-- we’re here for you! All host volunteers have been personally vetted by our staff and backed by strong character references & background checks. From retired nurses to doctors to professors to community leaders -- we have an incredible list of generous homes!

To our volunteer hosts: thank you for being on call, for saying “yes,” and for reminding us that medical need doesn’t stop because of the draft.

You’re making a difference, one night at a time.

Wishlist Wednesday… just a day late! 😅
We might be a little behind, but the need is right on time.

Our cupboards are running low on snacks, chips, and granola bars, and we’re also in need of adult-sized toothbrushes for our guests. These small comforts make a big difference for families staying with us during medical care.

If you’re out and about and feel like grabbing a little extra, we’d be so grateful! 💙
Drop-offs can be made anytime at the front door — thank you for helping us keep the house stocked with kindness!

To start an Anticipated Stay, call 920-884-6677 or talk with your healthcare provider about a referral to Altrusa!

The upcoming NFL Draft will have a significant impact on our area, making it difficult to reach certain businesses and organizations. Our own Emplify Health by Bellin Titletown clinic will be in the middle of the excitement.

While our Titletown patients will be cared for at another location during Draft week, our other Emplify Health by Bellin facilities will remain open and easily accessible.

We encourage everyone to keep their scheduled appointments — and reschedule, don’t cancel, if you have a conflict.

Regular care visits are the ideal way to stay up on your health and facilitate a great relationship with your provider and care teams.

After a successful launch of our Nights for Neighbors program last week, we are thrilled to share 26 FAMILIES have stepped up to open their homes during the NFL Draft-- when lodging will be scarce. 👏 THANK YOU to each one of you who sees our mission in action and chooses to give back in such a meaningful way. 🏠🙏

The NFL Draft is bringing thousands of visitors to Green Bay, and with hotels booked or increasing in price, our patients traveling for medical care are struggling to find an affordable place to stay. 💔

That’s where YOU come in! Altrusa Hospitality House is launching Nights for Neighbors, a program inviting local residents to open their homes to vetted patient families in need of temporary lodging.

A spare bedroom for just a few nights can make a world of difference for someone facing a medical crisis.

A Huge Thank You to Women of Steel! 💙💪

We are so grateful to the Women of Steel from Green Bay Packaging for their generosity and compassion! This incredible group of women came together to assemble welcome & care bags for our patients, along with dropping off household items, Kleenex, and mattress/pillow protectors. A care bag provides a compassionate welcome to each of our families visiting Altrusa Hospitality House for the first time.

Women of Steel come together to support, encourage, and raise awareness for cancer patients. Because of their kindness, our guests can focus on healing while feeling a little more at home.
