📚 ¡Excelente trabajo, Canes! 📚

Our Spanish 1 students recently demonstrated some major academic and linguistic growth by writing an essay entirely in Spanish! 🎉

Through their writing, students showed their ability to:
🗣️ Exchange personal information
❤️ Express likes and dislikes
✏️ Apply grammar skills in context
🔄 Correctly use subject pronouns and verb shifts
📝 Transition from individual words to complete sentences

What a great example of our students putting their learning into action! We are proud of the progress, effort, and confidence our Spanish 1 students are building.

¡Sigan así, Canes! 💚🧡

Coach Rose!!!!

A staple at West. A staple in this gym. A staple for this program. #

This was Coach Rose’s last home game. His passion for the game of volleyball, his passion for West Harrison, and his passion for the teams he has coached here is unmatched. (And his passion for clean gym floors)! These girls love him so much. Coach V loves him so much. West Harrison loves him so much! The amount of knowledge he has shared with the teams that have come through this school is truly incredible and “thank you” doesn’t even begin to touch the gratitude that we all feel.

Coach Rose, thank you for all of your time, all of your passion, all of your knowledge, all of your jokes, and all of the love you have poured into this program. WE LOVE YOU!! 🧡💚
