Power has been restored here at the Township.

Due to a substation fire 🔥 in Three Oaks our office facility is operating with limited access due to power outages.

Streed Drain update: Fall 2026

For Fall 2026, work on the Streed Drain will be limited to restoration and maintenance items on areas where installation activities have already occurred. This may include maintenance on structures, landscape restoration, and/or road maintenance. New installation, especially work that may include removal of sections of paved roads, will likely not occur until Spring 2027. In the spring, work will consist of storm sewer installation on Lakeshore Road between Berrien Street and Victor Road, and Streed Avenue between Lakeshore Road and Red Arrow Highway. Streed Avenue will also be resurfaced as part of the township’s ongoing road resurfacing project. Construction is scheduled for substantial completion in May 2027. While site restoration activities may occur throughout summer 2027, significant construction activities will conclude in May 2027.
