Rocky Mountain Development Council, Inc. (Rocky) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) human resources development council. We have been working in south-central Montana since 1965 and are part of a network of ten such organizations in Montana and 1,000 community action agencies around the Nation. We are committed to improving the quality of life for all community members, especially for those who face poverty

or for whom mental illness, isolation, or age puts them at unusual risk. We are also committed to encouraging volunteerism that itself addresses community need. Rocky’s programs range from Low Income Energy Assistance to Affordable Housing to Meals on Wheels to Foster Grandparents to Head Start, and many more.

A big thank you to the Blue Cross Blue Shield team for spending the day on Wednesday volunteering at Rocky! 💙

Their team rolled up their sleeves to pull weeds in our preschool area and garden, clean up around the Neighborhood Center, and even join our seniors for an afternoon of bingo! Bingo was such a hit that some are already asking when they can come back and play again.

They also brought Sunshine Kits for our seniors, adding an extra bit of joy to a wonderful day.

We are so grateful for their time, generosity, and willingness to give back. Thank you, BCBS, for being such a wonderful community partner! 💙

Rocky’s Agency on Aging is offering Stepping On, a proven falls-prevention course taught at the Neighborhood Center. This program helps older adults build confidence, improve balance, and learn practical ways to prevent falls — supporting safe and healthy aging.
