🇺🇸 America Turns 250! 🇺🇸

In 2026, our nation celebrates an extraordinary milestone—250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

The Town of Holden is proud to join communities across the country in honoring the courage, sacrifice, and vision of those who founded our nation. As we reflect on our shared history, we also celebrate the values that continue to unite us: freedom, service, community, and opportunity.

Since 1852, Holden has been part of America's story, and we are grateful for the generations of residents who have helped shape our community into the wonderful place it is today.

As we commemorate America's 250th Birthday, let us honor our past, celebrate our present, and look forward with optimism to the future.

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸🎆

Congrats to Holden PD!

Last night, Chief Bob Cormier had the honor of representing the New England Association of Chiefs of Police and presenting the 1st Place Community Policing Award to Chief Eddie Benjamin and the Holden Police Department.

Holden PD was selected as the top agency in New England among departments serving communities with under 15,000 residents, recognizing their outstanding work through the “25 Days of Kindness” program, founded by Chief Chris Greeley in 2017, and their ongoing commitment to helping others both within and beyond their community.

Chief Cormier said, “We are incredibly proud of Chief Benjamin and the entire Holden Police Department. This recognition is truly well-deserved. Congratulations!”😃🎉
