Every keiki deserves a summer to remember.

When you listen to these kids talk about Camp Homelani, you can hear the excitement and joy that comes from unplugging at camp. It is a place to relax, build confidence, and experience the beauty of the North Shore.

FAMILIES – we still have spaces available for junior music camp (6/29–6/3), senior music camp (7/6–7/13), and discovery camp #3 (7/16–7/20). Keiki from all islands are welcome. Scholarships are available.

Want to make a difference? By sponsoring a camper, you can provide a life-changing week of connection and hope for a child who would not otherwise have the opportunity to have this experience.

👉 Register your keiki and give the gift of summer! Visit camphomelani.org to learn more.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom and justice are worth fighting for. As an organization rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ and called to serve all people without discrimination, we pause today to honor this important milestone in American history and the enduring strength of Black Americans.

We are so thankful to the Deloitte volunteers for joining us on Deloitte — for choosing to give their time to The Salvation Army Addiction Treatment Services in Nuʻuanu.

A fresh coat of aloha goes a long way. Their team rolled up their sleeves and got to work refreshing parking stalls, privacy planters, our main entrance sign, the outdoor deck, and more.

A welcoming, well-maintained environment matters. It signals dignity, safety, and hope to every person who walks through our doors.

Mahalo to the Deloitte team for your time, talent, and donation of the paint for the project. We also extend our gratitude to -Williams who provided The Salvation Army with a discount for the paint.

Tomorrow is one of the sweetest days of the entire year: National Donut Day!

Did you know this tradition actually started in the trenches of WWI? Over a century ago, the brave Salvation Army “Donut Lassies” provided essential comfort, home-cooked meals, and fresh donuts to soldiers on the front lines.

The Hawaiian and the Pacific Islands corps keep that spirit of service alive by delivering fresh donuts and deep gratitude to our local first responders and veterans centers.

Want to get involved? Join us tomorrow in spreading the love! Grab a box of donuts, share them with a coworker, a neighbor, or a local hero, and tag us so we can see your sweet acts of kindness.

: Meet Stephanie Norwood, Program Manager of our Community Assistance Center.

Stephanie shares a moment when a client changed the way she approaches her work. That single conversation became a mission — not just to meet people's immediate needs, but to help them see themselves the way God sees them. 🤍

Work like Stephanie's is made possible by your support. Visit the link in our bio to help us continue to Do The Most Good.

Small hands, BIG hearts!

This semester, students in the young entrepreneur after-school class at Mānoa Elementary School stepped up to help their community.

After seeing how their own neighborhood was impacted by the recent Kona Low storms, these inspiring keiki decided to donate a portion of their market day profits to our flood relief fund. Mahalo to Mrs. Kari Leong and these young leaders for walking beside us and showing us all what Aloha in Action looks like at any age.
