I was so glad to attend Waiau Elementary School’s Hoʻolauleʻa!

The students were able to finish their performances just before the rain and thunder rolled in. Mahalo to Principal Koga and the entire Waiau Elementary faculty and staff for putting together such a wonderful event for the school community.

It was so great seeing familiar faces, along with friends and family, come together to support the keiki and celebrate all the hard work they put into their performances!

Mahalo Principal Kardash for the invitation to Mililani Uka Elementary School’s May Day Program!

This year’s theme, “Aloha Kekahi i Kekahi: To Love One Another,” was beautifully reflected through the students’ performances and the spirit of aloha shared throughout the day.

It was especially great to see the program
held outside for the first time in years after past weather challenges, with families and friends gathered together to cheer on their keiki!

Their courage, selflessness, and dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and loved ones today, let us take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and express our gratitude to those who gave everything for our nation.
