At ResourceWest, we honor Juneteenth by acknowledging the resilience, strength, and leadership of Black communities, past and present. We recognize that freedom was delayed, and the struggle for equity continues today.

We remain committed to building a community where every family feels safe, seen, and supported. Our work toward household stability and access to opportunity is rooted in equity and fueled by a belief that everyone deserves to thrive.

We have one goal: to help build stability in the households and families in our community.

One way to support us in that is to become a monthly donor. Monthly donations create reliable funding for us, which we can use to support our community.

$100 a month creates affordable childcare for a summer.
$50 a month funds an emergency grant for a vehicle repair.
$30 a month opens a door to case management services for 5 households or individuals.

The groundbreaking may be over, but the impact of yesterday’s celebration will be felt for years to come.

ResourceWest is proud to celebrate the Mills Twinhomes project and the creation of 10 affordable homeownership opportunities for first-time buyers in our community.

Our office sits just steps away from this new development, making this more than a construction project for us. It will soon be home to families who will become our neighbors. We look forward to welcoming them and seeing this space filled with connection, stability, and opportunity.

Congratulations to Habitat for Humanity - Twin Cities, The Mills Church, the City of Minnetonka - Local Government, and the many partners whose collaboration made this project possible. We are grateful to be part of a community that continues to invest in solutions that strengthen families and create lasting impact.

Over the past few weeks, our team has had many conversations with families preparing for summer childcare, school supplies, and rising everyday expenses. Many are doing everything they can to stay ahead while balancing multiple pressures.

This month, we’re preparing for our expanded Back to School program while also finalizing our Annual Impact Report. Both reflect something we continue to witness every day: this community consistently shows up for one another in practical and steady ways.
