The Battle of the Badges Blood Drive is TODAY!

There are still a few appointment spots available, and walk-ins are welcome! Stop by the Hopkins Fire Station between noon and 6 p.m. to donate blood and help support patients in need.

Blood supplies are critically low, and every donation can make a difference.

Check out the flyer for details on how to schedule an appointment, or simply stop by today. We hope to see you there!

🏆 FIRST PLACE! 🏆

We’re excited to share that the Hopkins Fire Department brought home the 1st Place trophy at the 31st Annual Rib Competition at the Hopkins Elks Lodge #2221! 🔥🍖🏆

Even better than the trophy was getting the chance to spend time with so many people from our community. It was great seeing everyone come out, enjoy some amazing food, and have a little fun together.

A huge thank you to the Hopkins Elks Lodge for hosting another great event and to everyone who stopped by to say hello and support us.

We’re already looking forward to defending the title next year! 😎🔥

Siren test update
During today's scheduled test, some outdoor warning sirens in Hennepin County activated twice due to limitations in the older system. Our new system worked as intended. We’re reviewing adjustments to help ensure sirens only sound once in the future.

Celebrate the 43rd annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4. From 5:00 to 9 p.m. in Hopkins!

Neighborhoods throughout Hopkins will be hosting block parties, cookouts, ice cream socials, and events that promote crime prevention and stronger police-community partnerships.
