Precinct 3 spans as far west as Cypress - as far north as Tomball - and as far east as Crosby. It encompasses approximately 47% of all unincorporated Harris County, including over 6,600 lane miles of roadway, 68 parks, and 10 Community and Nature Centers. Precinct 3 is home to nearly a dozen community centers, 15 school districts, about 1,000 neighborhoods, and the nation's longest urban-forested corridor - the Spring Creek Greenway. The purpose of this site is to present matters of public interest in Harris County Precinct 3 (HCP3). Comments are encouraged and will be monitored. HCP3 also reserves the right to remove comments including but not limited to those containing obscene language or sexual content, messages that threaten or promote illegal activity, commercial services, or products.

Commissioner Ramsey was proud to attend Spring Branch Independent School District ribbon cutting 🎀✂️ celebrating the opening of the Guthrie Center, the district’s new career and technical education campus. 🎉🏫

He also presented school officials with a proclamation recognizing this important achievement as Spring Branch ISD celebrates 80 years of educational excellence. Congratulations to the district, its educators, students, parents, and community on this amazing milestone!

Commissioner Ramsey attended Crime Stoppers of Houston National Day of Remembrance, joining law enforcement, elected officials, and families to honor the lives lost to homicide.

This week, Commissioner Ramsey joined leaders from animal welfare, local government, law enforcement, and organizations at PetSet's State of Animal Welfare Conference.

Together, they shared ideas on strengthening partnerships and finding solutions to address Harris County's stray animal crisis. By partnering with animal welfare organizations like PetSet, we can reduce the overpopulation of stray animals while also promoting safer, healthier communities for people and pets. 🐶🐱❤️
