Our crews are putting in the work to stay sharp, so we can bring our best to this community. The third quarter drill focuses on safely removing victims from fire scenes, navigating window extractions and using hydraulic ventilation to clear conditions for efficient operations.

The kids are back to school and so are we. HFR is excited to partner with Huntsville Center for Technology on the new Fire Science Program, investing in the future first responders of our city.

This week, the first cohort began their hands-on training that builds the skills and discipline for a career in fire service and emergency response. 🚒

Live-fire training brings the pressure and puts skills to the test.

Last week, HFR Firefighters from Class 60 had the opportunity to participate in live-fire exercises with support from the Bureau of Alcohol, To***co, Fi****ms and Explosives (ATF).

This intense training gave the group significant hands-on chances to hone communication and teamwork skills under realistic conditions. 🔥

HFR was proud to recently join BBBS of TN Valley and Huntsville Police Department for First Responder Career Day. Everyone had the opportunity to explore emergency vehicles, turnout gear and firefighter demonstrations for a day of learning and unforgettable memories.

Clearly, the consistent favorite is the fire truck. 😎 We love seeing the future of public safety in action and look forward to next time!

Our Bigs, Littles, and families had the chance to explore the Huntsville Public Safety Training Academy through hands-on activities, emergency vehicles, STEM experiences, and exciting K-9, SWAT, and firefighter demonstrations. It was a day full of learning, inspiration, and unforgettable memories!

A huge thank you to the Huntsville Police Department, Huntsville Fire and Rescue, Alabama STEM Council, and Avion Solutions Incorporated for making this experience possible.
