Today, we joined our partners, the National Cemetery Administration (NCA) U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, for their annual Memorial Day service with Medical Center Director Michael E. Hershman as the key note speaker.

Since it’s opening in 2022, this service has been held annually to take a pause and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

For the Veteran community, this day carries deep personal meaning. It is an opportunity to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country, while also recognizing all Veterans whose lives and service left a lasting impact on their families, friends, fellow service members, and communities. Their dedication, courage, and commitment to something greater than themselves continue to inspire us.

Every day, the work we do reflects our commitment to caring for those who have worn the uniform and to ensuring that Veterans receive the respect and support they have earned.
