If the student in your life rides the bus to and from school, review these quick safety tips with the acronym “S.A.F.E.”:

S: Stay at least ten feet away from the curb.
A: Always wait until the bus comes to a complete stop and the bus driver signals for you.
F: Face forward after finding a seat on the bus.
E: Exit the bus after it stops and look left-right-left for cars before crossing a street.

As summer travel continues, and back-to-school traffic begins, stay alert and be aware of your surroundings. Check your blind spots, use your turn signals, obey speed limits, and keep distractions out of reach.
