Join the MCTC and Iowa National Guard for a special DFSA training event ⬇️

The Iowa Drug-Facilitated Sexual Assault (DFSA) Training is a comprehensive, multi-day professional development program designed to strengthen the collaborative response of multidisciplinary justice system professionals. By integrating cutting-edge forensic science, trauma-informed methodologies, and practical legal strategies, the training guides attendees through the entire lifecycle of a complex sexual assault case—from the initial on-scene response to the final courtroom verdict. Ultimately, the program equips law enforcement, prosecutors, forensic specialists, and victim advocates with the collective tools and ethical frameworks necessary to dismantle systemic biases, streamline case coordination, and establish a highly resilient, victim-centered pathway to justice. The National Organization of Victim Assistance (NOVA) has approved 15 hours of CEUs, including 2 Hours of Ethics for completion of the course.

🦋MDT Monday

Advocates know that trauma doesn’t only affect survivors. Our law enforcement partners often witness tragedy, violence, and heartbreak while serving our communities. We see your dedication, honor your sacrifices, and stand beside you. Healing happens through partnership, compassion, and supporting one another—because those who help others deserve support
