Hi Olli Friends
April is the start of RI Historical Cemeteries Month. As many of you know I love to visit these places to learn about the people who came before me, and those who built the community and State I call home.
So if you love RI history and have some free time this month grab your gloves and a rake and attend one of the many cleanups throughout the State.
We are is kicking off the South County cleanups at 10am on Saturday (April 2) at SK84 Major Ebenezer Adams Lot.
Ebenezer Adams (1732-99) was captain of artillery, 1776, and was an officer in Col. William Barton's expedition to capture the British General Prescott, 1777.
The lot is located on the grounds of the Compass School on Old North Road…
