Today was a great day of training for URI EMS. Our members participated in a high-intensity, 20-patient mass casualty incident drill, putting their triage, treatment, and teamwork skills to the test in a fast-paced and stressful environment.

Scenarios like this are critical to ensuring our crews are prepared to respond effectively when it matters most. From rapid patient assessment to coordinated care and communication, our members rose to the challenge and demonstrated the professionalism and dedication that defines URI EMS.

Training doesn’t just build skills , it builds confidence, resilience, and readiness.

We are proud to announce the successful graduation of 13 EMS recruits to the rank of Corpsman along with promotions to the ranks of Corporal, Lieutenant and Captain. Our dedicated volunteers not only volunteer to provide the best in EMS on a daily basis but also seek supervisory roles within our Corps to lead their fellow Corpsmen and ensure their safety. CONGRATS TO ALL!!
