Kennedy Haworth graduated from Michigan State University at 19 — a feat she credits to her charter alma mater, Chatfield School. Today, she's District Director for State Sen. Kevin Daley, running day-to-day operations for Michigan's 26th Senate District. 🏛️

Chatfield's academic acceleration got her ahead early, and its close-knit community showed her how to build the kind of relationships she now relies on every day in Lansing. She even shares a full-circle moment: walking into a Capitol meeting and instantly recognizing a local leader as the father of an old Chatfield classmate.

We are excited to share that, with the recent passage of Michigan's 2026-2027 School Aid Budget, Chatfield School will continue providing FREE breakfast and lunch to every student, every school day! In addition, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Chatfield Food Service Program! ⬇⬇⬇

We had a fabulous group of Chatfield 4th-8th grade girls putting in some hard work this week at our volleyball mini camp. They learned new drills, practiced their overhand serves and even got in a scrimmage against each other. Mr Boyle and the coaches look forward to seeing them all again in August for a great season!
