The State of Vaccines Action Forum: Building on the Hilleman Legacy

With a free screening of the documentary “Hilleman: A Perilous Quest to Save the World’s Children”

The 2026 State of Vaccines Action Forum is an annual event bringing together a national audience around the shared goal of protecting communities from vaccine-preventable disease. Held in honor of Montana native and pioneering vaccinologist, Maurice Hilleman, the Action Forum brings together leading experts in vaccine science, medicine, public health, policy, communications, law, and advocacy to examine the current landscape, celebrate progress, and equip advocates for the work ahead. This year’s panel will feature Dr. Paul Offit, Kirsten Hilleman, Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, and Dr. Jessica Steier.

As August is National Immunization Awareness Month, we are pleased to commemorate this occasion by sharing a special video highlighting the remarkable legacy of Dr. Hilleman. “Hilleman: A Perilous Quest to Save the World’s Children” will be available free of charge August 24-27. The video link will be emailed on Monday, August 24.
