FYI:
I-65 Project Update
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's I-65 Central Corridor project will replace aging bridges on the heavily traveled I-65 corridor between I-264 (Watterson Expressway) and the Muhammad Ali Boulevard interchange in downtown Louisville. As part of the project, I-65 will be closed Monday, June 1-Friday, July 31. The five-mile closure extends between the Watterson Expressway (I-264) and downtown Louisville (Jefferson Street).

Impact on UofL's campuses
This roadwork will likely impact travel to/from Belknap and Health Sciences Center campuses. University officials are meeting frequently to discuss necessary adjustments to day-to-day operations, classes, events and other issues that may be affected by the roadwork.

Staying informed
The Office of Communications and Marketing will provide frequent updates to university faculty, staff and students leading up to and throughout the I-65 corridor closure. Information will also be posted in UofL Today and the weekly student newsletter.
A page on the UofL Parking and Transportation website, https://louisville.edu/parking/uli65, is now available. This webpage includes news/information, FAQs and other resources that relate to the project’s impact on UofL. This page will become more robust as the project proceeds, and the UofL community will be informed as resources and more information are added.
The I-65 Central Corridor project website, https://i65centralcorridor.com, includes details about the project, such as maps, news, traffic alerts and more. The site also includes links to receive text and email updates about the project.
