We have some really exciting Youth Volunteers for Conservation events coming up! These hands-on events allow young adults to learn more about different conservation careers, contribute to local conservation efforts, earn community service hours, and connect with their peers.

⚠️ Attention Token Creek County Park Disc Golf & Dog Park users! ⚠️

Please use the Anderson Road entrance today (Tuesday, Sept 8) to access these facilities. They will not be accessible from the main entrance due to asphalt paving in the park.

We're not out of the woods yet.... and neither are the ticks! We generally expect tick activity to climb in the fall, so keep up with your tick checks. Our tick check stations at three area parks will be up through September to guide you through a tick check. Find them at:

𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 & 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀* 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗱𝗮𝘆!

Help us plant a stormwater basin at the Babcock County Park boat launch! We will be planting native plants into an existing bioretention basin that has been cleared of invasive species. All tools and training will be provided.

Join us for a community learning and networking opportunity centered on creating, enhancing, and managing native plant gardens!

To kick off Wisconsin Stormwater Week, this month’s learning topic will focus on rain gardens and downspout gardens. Learn more about these special gardens, when they can be used, and how to install them. Planting plans and resources will be available and experts will be on hand to provide design help and answer questions. You can also watch the rainfall simulator in action to see how rain gardens work to prevent stormwater pollution.

Token Creek Disc Golf Course users should use the entrance at 4036 Anderson Rd. on September 2 due to road paving. This closure is weather dependent. The rain date will be September 3.
